In a new feature Blog series, we ask some of our employees 5 questions all about their work life, their personal life and everything inbetween.
This week’s Q&A is with Adam Pollard, AVP Consultant at BRUIN, who has given their insight into some of life’s most important questions!
How long have you been with BRUIN and what’s making you want to stay?
I have been working at BRUIN Financial for over 4 and a half years. I enjoy working at BRUIN because of the dedication they put into their staff. It means a lot for my manager and directors to have faith in me and allow me to push myself to take on more responsibility not just with our clients but also internally. BRUIN is a great company to work because every employee is treated fairly. The Senior Management team’s doors are always open and no question is a bad question! BRUIN offer a lot of initiatives internally to keep us motivated and also offer a lot of support for our mental wellbeing which is very important in this current climate.
When are you at your happiest?
Placing candidates! There is no better feeling than hearing the delight in someone’s voice when you have found them their dream job!
What is something that you would be able to teach others?
In my experience I have found that I am able to build very good relationships with line manager and clients. One thing that I would be able to teach others would be how to approach different clients and maintaining relationships so that you are always their first call when they are looking to hire!
Can you name a habit that you try and live by, and why?
Keeping an open mind. Its very easy to let your emotions get the better of you, especially in recruitment! One thing I always try and do each day is not let any negative feedback or outcomes effect how I approach my next task. Keeping a level head allows me to do this and stay focused!
The classic – 3 dinner party guests and why?
Tiger woods, Hugh Jackman & Roger Federer.
