Employee of the Month – Rachael

10 Questions with Employee of the Month

Each month the whole company nominates someone who has gone above and beyond their day job. The winner of the award is then announced at our monthly FREE Thursday round up and is added to our annual prize draw for free return flights anywhere in Europe!

This month we’re sitting down for 10 quick fire questions with April’s winner Rachael Fish, who heads up our Manchester office – when she’s not treading the boards with the cast of Neighbours, singing along to country music, or meditating!

1. Which team and office do you work in?  VP Manager of Regional Recruitment, based in Manchester

2. How would you describe your job to a 10 year old? Oooh, I help people find new jobs that they love.

3. What would be your claim to fame / something people may not know about you? I once acted on stage in a murder mystery with Harold Bishop from neighbours.

4. Name one thing which you’ve been most proud of at work in the last 6 months? I’m so proud of the incredible team that we have built in Manchester. So many different personalities that work brilliantly together and really work so hard to help each other. There is a family atmosphere at BRUIN like no other I have ever experienced.

5. If you could change one thing about working at FISER, what would it be? How much we drink on nights out…. I’m getting too old for this!

6. What advice would you give to a new joiner? Work hard, be passionate about the people you deal with and you can’t fail.

7. What’s your current favourite app? Breethe – it’s a meditation/mindfulness app that helps clear your mind and I’m sleeping better than I have in years!

8. What’s your favourite line from a film? ‘I want the fairytale’ – Pretty Woman

9. What’s your guilty pleasure? Do I have to say? Erm…. Country music. My Dad was a country music DJ on Radio Lancashire and I regularly have a sing in the car on my own… full pelt!

10. If you could switch jobs with someone, who would it be? Jenna Coleman who plays Queen Victoria in Victoria. I love period dramas and I’d have loved to play such a fantastic character.
