Business Development Director - Midlands region (Home based)
£70,000 plus discretionary bonus & 9% pension contribution.
Responsible for developing Wholesale business within geographical area of Midlands (UK). Covering UK Wholesale clients; Independent Financial Adviser, Discretionary Wealth Management, Retail Banks and Private Banks. Working with the Head of UK Wholesale to achieve net sales and revenue targets.
Impact on Business
Focused on the UK Wholesale segment business development, with particular emphasis on increasing asset under management on OEIC & GIF mutual fund platform.
Covering GBM FIG clients and targets including the associated field consultants
Contributing to the UK Wholesale growth plan via Net sales growth
Generate a high level of activity with clients and tailor interactions with them to ensure effective outcomes.
Maintaining and developing knowledge of Wholesale industry trends and regulatory knowledge.
Having a detailed knowledge of competitors and products.
Building and maintaining Wholesale client contacts and knowledge of industry
A detailed understanding of Wholesale Business Development led processes / business methodologies
Developing & maintaining internal Group relationships
Comprehensive understanding of Group and AMG strategy
Comprehensive knowledge of Companies products and capabilities
Responsible for developing Wholesale business within geographical region of Midlands in UK, covering wide spectrum of B2B clients (IFA, Discretionary Wealth, Retail & Private Banks) within the Wholesale segment. Role will focus on promotion of AMG mutual fund solutions within Wholesale segment ensuring revenue growth and meeting agreed net sales and revenue targets from clients who are domiciled in agreed region (Midlands). Role will be home based but will need strong engagement with stakeholders within AMG
