We now have an exciting opportunity within one of the largest asset managers in the world as a Transitions Specialist.

You will be working to seamlessly transitioning assets to our client’s funds with an aim to minimize costs. You will be working with institutional clients to ensure transitions are carried out to plan.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Define objectives for the transitions, current structure of assets, dependencies and proposed time
• frame for executing transition with the institutional clients
• Coordinates planning and execution of in-specie transitions ensuring these are performed in a timely and accurate manner by all parties
• Provide a recommended route for executing the transition which minimizes costs
• Liaise with Legal and Client Services ensuring all required legal documents are agreed and executed before the transition
• Liaise with various teams to ensure all requirements are met, including settlement instructions, stock lists, taxes to be applied, valuation of in-specie and time frames for completion
• Coordinate deal instructions and settlement where necessary
• Work closely with operations to ensure management information and dashboards are improved and also to ensure planning and implementation of change

Key skills needed:

• Previous experience in a transitions role.
• CFA, or progress towards the CFA, is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and
• Project management experience
• High degree of flexibility
