Our leading Financial Services client is looking a Solvency II Reporting Solutions IT/ Systems Manager to join their team based in East Sussex. This is a new management position that has been created whereby you will be responsible for providing support for solvency II reporting solutions used by the company. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will gain the chance to advance your career in a leading institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the systems in scope
• Provide application support to the business units that use the reporting tools and solutions
• Resolve incidents and queries
• Manage the implementation of new Solvency II applications and maintenance
• Manage software vendor relationships
• Ensure that the support process is documented, assuring governance and controls
• Manage user licence assignments
• Deliver projects and change work in regards to Solvency II
• Manage the finance systems analyst
• Undergo frequent system maintenance tasks, configuration and troubleshooting tasks.

Skills Required

• Proven Excel VBA skills and data manipulation skills
• Knowledge and awareness of Solvency II reporting tools and regulations.
• Proven knowledge of data exchange standards, for example, XML and XBRL
• Experience within Application Support and incident management
• Knowledge of system management and application and software testing.
