Paraplanner £35,000 - £40,000 + bonus/benefits
To support and assist our Financial Planners in the delivery of bespoke solutions to our clients as part of the financial advice process.
To contribute to the increase in profit for the fee earners and business owners.
To continuously improve and maintain client service levels in accordance with best business practices and in line with regulated guidelines.
To support the financial planner in the development of valuable and long term business relationships with clients.
As part of your duties you will
Assess clients goals, needs objectives and circumstances
Identify gaps requiring more information
Carry out research and analyse products and services that are appropriate to each clients financial circumstances
Consider opportunities and constraints
Prepare clear, suitable, compliant reports
Complete reviews of clients portfolios
Ensure compliant paperwork is on file
Effectively use research and planning systems such as Analytics, O&M, CashCalc and various wrap platforms.
Maintain industry awareness, compliance and regulatory developments
Develop productive working relationships with colleagues
Knowledge and experience of Financial Planning
Knowledge of Compliance issues
Ability to gather & record evidence
High attention to detail & accuracy
Ability to manage time, prioritise and organise effectively
Relationship Management, excellent people and listening skills
Report writing experience
We require all our Paraplanners to have experience within a Paraplanning role and a CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning qualified or with a specific plan in place to achieve this qualification.
