Our client a Wealth Management company is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their London team. This is a new business development role which will be responsible for the promotion of the company Investments services to IFA firms, legal and accountancy practices and other intermediary channels.
Initiate contact & build effective working relationships with existing & prospective intermediaries.
Identify, formulate & execute new business initiatives from targeted, segmented prospect lists.
Agree & achieve agreed new business targets in line with company strategic objectives.
Create & maintain market map of existing intermediary advisers, prospects & key external influencers.
Communicate regularly with client advisory, portfolio management & client services teams
Operate within & meet all risk, compliance and legal standards.
Ideally the candidate will have 5 - 10 years wealth management intermediary business development experience.
The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Financial Planning, Investment Management Certificate (IMC) or other relevant professional financial qualifications.
Professional, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Excellent product and market knowledge to apply best practice to the business area.
