Our client is one of the global leading life companies offering life, health and disability insurance for groups and individuals. They are currently looking to recruit for an External Communications Manager to play a key part in defining and evolving the firms presence in the market. The candidate will be responsible for manageing external communications including content and press activities associated with the Individual business lines
The candidates primary responsibilities will be;
Identify and develop strong relationships with the media (media channels: trade, national, social media). Identifying and engaging key influencers and other external stakeholders.
Work with Digital Marketing Manager to curate, edit and write content for our websites; own brand and partner emails; newsletters; campaigns; social media channels and blogs including 3rd parties
Manage PR aspects of any crisis situations
Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement the companys PR strategy and plan, and report against agreed KPIs
Develop and deliver a brand-building content plan for our products and services and new online proposition, working with the
Management of internal spokesperson activity, to ensure all PR communications are brand consistent
Copy writing and wider support for the Marketing Department.
Organise PR events, including press briefings, press breakfasts etc
Monitor social media activity and manage appropriate responses through liaison with relevant internal departments. Deliver client insights from social media to inform product and service development.
All candidates must have excellent track recored of working in a PR/external communications role within financial services, whether that be in-house or agency side.
This role will be based in Potters Bar in the companies head office.
