A leading Asset Manager is looking for a Programme Support Officer (PMO). The role is for an experienced Programme Support Officer to provide support to the Programme Manager in programme planning, co-ordination and administration. The programme consists of both business and technical projects.


• You will have a large degree of exposure with senior stakeholders.
• Providing support to the Programme Manager in meeting Governance requirements.
• Scheduling meetings and workshops.
• Reporting progress to senior stakeholders; preparing senior board and steering meetings.
• Managing overall budgets and timescales.
• Updating and tracking programme financial information including the tracking and payment of invoices.
• Identifying and managing programme risks, issues and dependencies.
• Directing and co-ordinating activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
• Monitoring progress of individual projects within the programme, including project plans, budgets and RAAID logs.
• Providing ad hoc support to the Project Manager Team lead and Portfolio team lead.

What we are looking for

• A self-starter with proven PPMO experience within Financial Services.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• A sound knowledge of Project Management methodologies, applying and adhering to principles and processes, ensuring they are effectively applied throughout the project life-cycle.
• Delivery focussed pragmatic approach with good problem solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A good understanding of the asset management industry.
• Previous programme support experience
• MiFID experience (desirable but not essential)
• Good understanding of project methods and tools, including appropriate software
Proficient in use of Excel, Word. Powerpoint, Visio and MS Project, Planview.
