Our leading Financial Services client, based in the heart of Birmingham, is looking for an AVP Operations Manager to help build out and manage their Client Data Remediation team. Currently a team of 9 theyre looking to build out the data remediation team significantly and this individual will look after a team of around 8 12 people.
An experienced people manager with data management skills would be ideal. However, we are interested in speaking to strong Operations candidates who have good product knowledge and extremely strong people management skills.
The team works closely with a number of stakeholders, including front office and middle office teams to discuss the data challenges and gaps in a front to back manner for key clients. A key function would be to manage people on a day to day basis, across their business responsibilities but also 1-2-1s, End of year reviews and helping them develop their careers.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the set up of the Data Remediation Function as well as participating in building this function out in Birmingham
Working along side SMEs within the wider team across locations
Agree timelines and milestones with key stakeholders
Develop KPIs and KRIs and other MIS
Previous experience managing teams
Data Management and Analytics experience essential, with Financial Service experience highly beneficial
Able to work with Data Tools
Sound stakeholder management and relationship management skills
Strong analytical and problem solving experience
