Our client, a global investment manager firm. Are looking to recruit a Team Leader - Integration Controls. The main purpose of the role is to manage the Reconciliations Controls Team responsible in ensuring both the integrity and automation of the reconciliation process on a daily basis enabling the process and function to effectively to deliver comprehensive, timely and accurate reporting requirements to both internal and external clients within the set SLAs.
Ensure stringent controls are in place to restrict and manage operational risk.
Daily review of data integrity errors to identify common themes and co-ordinate resolution with respective parties.
Monitor and report on performance against service level agreements. Review working processes and implement service improvements.
Produce trend analysis to highlight on-going or recurring exception themes. Proactively develop effective and constructive remediation to prevent reoccurrence.
Manage and develop all direct reporting staff and ensure team performance meets agreed targets and measurements.
Assist Line Manager in project work and ability to lead team in Line Managers absence.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of operational risk and controls
Able to adapt and thrive in a changing environment
An interest in pursuing a career within the Investment Management / Financial Services Industry
PC skills including MS Excel and MS Word
