Our client, a leading international bank, is looking for a PMO to join their team in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to establish a central project management office and for gathering monthly reporting updates from the Project Managers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating the monthly reporting updates, challenging the status and the mitigation plans to ensure a path to green status is in place
• Identifying risk themes and root causes and providing support in making recommendations in partnership with the Programme Managers
• Highlighting the key decisions required, risks and issues and updating on resourcing and budget
• Providing oversight to the budgeting and planning of the portfolio as required
• Maintaining regular face to face contact with key business stakeholders

Role Requirements:

• Proven relevant experience in a Business Analyst or PMO role, ideally in a control function within Financial Services
• Experience of PMO leadership and co-ordination across projects and business functions
• Demonstrable experience of project and portfolio planning across a number of concurrent projects
• Experience in reviewing, appraising and consolidating project plans into a portfolio view
• Experience in capacity management/delivery of change management through careful resource planning and supervising the project resources
• Holds a project management qualification
