We are working with a leading Investment Bank, to recruit a Recovery And Resolution Planning Assistant Vice President for their London team. The ideal candidate will come from a regulatory background, will have strong understanding of living wills and risk awareness.

As Recovery And Resolution Planning AVP, you will ensure the firm assesses and documents the contingency playbooks correctly, to be used in a stress or recovery scenario. You will work on the business as usual (BAU), as part of the wider regulatory team.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and update the bank’s resolution planning
• Create Living Wills (LW) playbooks refreshes for Financial Markets Infrastructure companies
• Analyse regulatory guidance and enhance current playbooks
• Liaise with Business, Operations, Treasury, Legal and Risk Management functions on contingency strategies
• Performing quality and consistency reviews of playbooks

Skills and Expertise

• Experience in living wills, recovery and resolution planning / development (RRP)
• Strong understanding of resolution planning and the relevant regulations
• Knowledge of liquidity management / liquidity risk
• Understanding of processes within clearing houses, central securities depositories and payment systems
• Understanding of complex financial instruments (equities, fixed income, cash equivalent, derivatives)
• Excellent communication skills (writing) and research skills
• Projects and change knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
