A leading UK merchant banking group based in South Manchester is currently looking for a Business Processing Administrator. They provide lending with an emphasis on specialist finance, deposit taking, wealth management and security trading.

To apply for the position you must have experience in the following
• Provided assistance in recording and collating departmental statistics on a daily and monthly basis.
• Adherence to and updating of, all departmental procedures.
• Participation in the Appraisal and Development Scheme.
• Involvement in regular checking, monitoring and the verification of data and liaising with different department to ensure a smooth and effective outcome.
• Previous experience of completing a full rage of administration duties within the remit of the business processing team. Including data entry and paper checking.
• Accurate and timely updating of ‘Intelligent Office (IO)’ with applicable case details and progress.
• Accurate and timely processing of payment in expectations, covering regular and ad hoc events.
• Accurate and timely processing of Withdrawal requests, Internal Transfers and Switches to ensure monies are paid out to clients in a timely manner and/or investments are transferred / switched, as appropriate.
• Previous Financial Services experience, specifically in a Wealth Management business, would be a key advantage, as would experience in working with investment products and ‘platforms.’
• Experience of the PULSE and Symphony Cash Management (SYD) systems,
• Completed applicable business cases are processed in line with client instructions, adhering to applicable SLAs and departmental procedures.

The right candidate will enjoy attention to detail with the ability to work within a fast paced environment to very tight deadlines. With an understanding of compliance with regulatory framework and ideally to have worked within a similar organisation. The role includes extended working hours during peak periods.
