Our client, top tier financial services firm, is currently looking for an Audit Manager (Actuarial) for Insurance and Pensions to join their Audit team. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of audits which provide internal customers and stakeholders with critical assessments of the firm’s governance, risk and internal control frameworks.

As an Audit Manager (Actuarial) for Insurance and Pensions your responsibilities include:
• Ensuring that audit assignments are completed in a timely and efficient manner with due respect to the standards established by Global Internal Audit (GBL INA), industry best practices and the relevant risk and regulatory environment.
• Fully understand the impact of their audit findings, including recommendations for improvements in business processes, on the current and future business model and operating environment
• Engage stakeholders to obtain a deeper understanding of their business, its requirements and the implications for audit
• Present audit reports to management, stakeholders, evaluate the adequacy of their action plans and monitor its implementation
• Ensure that audit reporting properly highlights all material risks and these are presented to the appropriate levels of management

The successful incumbent will require:
• Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Life insurance products and services knowledge and, or knowledge of pension scheme governance and administration
• Experience working in relevant environments, i.e. Audit experience in international financial, insurance institutions
• Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Professional certification (s) preferred (ACA, ACCA, MIIA, CIA, CIIA and, or actuarial qualifications)
• Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
