BRUIN Financial are currently working with a leading Investment back who are looking to recruit a senior position with broad Regulatory Policy oversight.

You will be working in a team that is responsible for both the production of the Regulatory returns as well as guiding senior stakeholders on the impact of the changing regulatory environment - working within the Standardised Model you will be recognised as the contact point for policy related enquiries and hold a position on the Regulatory impact committee.

You will assess and communicate all regulatory rules changes (PRA, EBA Q&A, BCBS and other) and the regulatory impact to existing and new business initiatives. This includes preparation of Policy paper updates for consumption by ALCO and senior management; monitor documentation and governance around all key Regulatory Policies and areas of Interpretation through collaboration with Regulatory policy and Interpretation Committees

• Monitor and communicate regulatory developments (Basel, EU and PRA) to identify risks and themes e.g. Basel III and CRR2.
• Regular updates to Director Regulatory Reporting re new initiatives and rules / other regulatory changes
• Acting as lead for the Regulatory Policy and interpretations Committee – ensuring Policies are distributed in advance of meetings and documented to ensure good governance. Leading debate on areas of interpretation including recommendations for new policies
• Act upon and respond to any regulatory framework queries from senior management, Front Office and related functional departments e.g. Risk and Corporate Treasury.
• Participate in industry (BBA, AFME) discussions regarding regulatory change.

Skills Required
• Investment Banking experience and in-depth knowledge of FSA rules and regulatory requirements.
• Up to date knowledge of the various regulatory framework changes at the global, European & UK Level

Salary circa - £110,000
