Our client, a leading Retail Bank is currently looking for a Data Management Lead to join the Financial Crime Threat Mitigation (FCTM) team in their offices based in Edinburgh.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Managing the development and deployment of data platforms.
Ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and user interaction at all levels, leading to informed and well-judged trade-offs and priority decisions to maximise business benefit.
Ensuring requirements are communicated clearly, consistently and in context to HOST colleagues at all levels.
Optimising systems usage in FCTM. Identify and eradicate duplication or underutilisation within the FCTM and across FCR and lines of business.
Managing a team of product owners, business/data analysts and deployment specialists, nurturing talent and encouraging innovation.
Supporting the Head of Data Platforms to prepare and sign off for annual FCTM Systems AOP.
Establishing seamless, trusting and mutually supportive relationships with the other components of FCTM, FCC and GIIG.
If you have proven Project Management/Product Ownership experience in a complex global environment, investigative and/or intelligence experience of a wide range of financial crime threat areas, knowledge of technology issues relevant to Data Platforms/the financial sector and the proven ability to rapidly develop subject matter expertise in a range of technical and non-technical areas, then this could be the role for you!
The successful candidate will also posess strong leadership and team work capabilities at both a global level and a regional level. Effective stakeholder management, communication and risk management skills are also essential.
