Globally renowned Asset Manager seeking Investment Data Analyst to join their London office.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will be to perform validation of investment data, ensure data accuracy, and create and maintain reporting tools.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform regular and ad hoc data validations and oversee various data reporting processes.
• Partner with traders, portfolio managers, and client service teams to answer performance and reporting questions, assist with ad hoc requests, and collaborate within a global team to identify solutions to any issue.
• Create, understand and interpret returns, characteristics, and attributions for portfolios and benchmarks.
• Contribute to ongoing efficiency efforts to improve processes and tools. Suggest and act upon ways to improve data flow, data quality, and data consumption.

Qualifications & Experience
• 1-2 years’ experience in the financial services (preferred)

• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred; degree (or minimally, some coursework) in Mathematics, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or similar preferred.
• Advanced user of SQL and VBA (essential)
• Problem solving capability with keen attention to detail. Ability to work with details and ensure accuracy, while maintaining a big picture focus.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions to technical and non-technical teams.
• Knowledge of T-SQL and databases in general highly considered, as so much of the job involves pulling data from databases and performing analysis.
