A leading Asset Manager is looking for a Quantitative Analyst to join their Global Trading team in London. This is a newly-created position requiring day-to-day interaction with traders and making recommendations based on Quantitative Analysis.

Responsibilities will include:

• Work with various participants of the trading cycle, including Portfolio Managers, Traders, Brokers and analytics providers
• Assessing trade execution quality and providing recommendations for improving execution performance
• Apply statistical and data analysis in order to capture insight to the trading process
• Initial focus on global equity trading analysis, this will extend to currency and global fixed income trading as markets progress.
• Help maintain and manage third party post-trade execution analytic and vendor relationships.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries for portfolio liquidity and trade cost analysis.
• Proactively and independently develop quantitative analyses and tools to support and enhance the execution of trading ideas.
• Provide liquidity and capacity analysis for individual portfolios and strategies.

Skills required:
• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as finance, statistics, or computer science.
• CFA designation is beneficial
• Extensive trading or transaction cost analysis experience.
• Thorough understanding of quantitative financial and statistical concepts
• Equity and fixed income quantitative background
• Market structure knowledge
