Our client, a leading Insurance company, is looking for a new member to join their team in London. The role is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong stakeholder management skills and has gained experience in analytical MI / programme reporting role and preferable understanding of change life-cycle. Building relationships with senior level personnel, providing effective advice, able to challenge and provide guidance in relation to Financial Control.
Provide analytics, commentary and quality assurance of monthly and quarterly MI reporting for business functions [includes Strategy & Change, HR and inflight and early priority Target Operating Model (TOM) initiatives].
Provide Finance support and an overall understanding of the TOM funding and costing model. Quality assurance of all financial and non-financial information required for project sponsors, project managers, Project Boards and external funders as required in both routine reporting and ad hoc requests.
Provide Finance support to various business functions (includes Strategy & Change, HR and TOM programmes), ensuring that processes implemented are robust from a Financial Control perspective.
Provide Finance support and quality assurance to the planning, processing and reporting of the three year budget and the rolling and revised forecast from a Financial Control perspective.
Decision making responsibilities where appropriate, particularly relating to budgeting, forecasting, financial and management reporting issues.
Previous experience in multi-function MI / programme reporting and analytics role and preferable understanding of change life-cycle.
Strong experience of stakeholder relations management
Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent international qualification)
