Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a member to join their dynamic office in London. The role is related to all aspects of Capital and Large Exposure monitoring and reporting under CRD IV using Axiom and existing reporting tools.

Responsibilities:
• Timely and accurate production of key daily reports
• Linkage of movement in metrics to business areas and products to identify drivers of material moves with supporting root cause analysis. Commentaries to capture salient points relevant to the users of the reports and presentation of commentary to senior management. This should capture trends in surplus capital and other key metrics.
• Reconciliation of production data to ledgers/other available sources and resolution of material breaks with minimal managerial intervention.
• Escalation of material issues and proposing potential options and leading through to resolution.
• Assisting with the production of quarterly Common Reporting returns and monthly Prudential returns
• Good understanding of cash and derivative products
• Data validation controls
• Supporting all London businesses through effective management of regulatory framework changes and timely, accurate PRA reporting.
• The role requires an individual who can work under pressure to accurately meet tight deadlines – which may involve some longer hours and occasionally weekend work.

Requirements
• Experience of regulatory reporting requirements is not essential, but a basic understanding of the role of Regulatory Reporting, capital adequacy and large exposures is desired.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets products and accounting for different products including cash securities, repos and derivatives.

Preferred
• Accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) will be beneficial to this role because of the focus on creating a strong control environment
• ICAAP experience
• Familiarity of risk management policies and processes.
• A basic understanding of regulatory rules Basel III, CRD IV
