A Recovery and Resolution Planning Analyst (AVP) is sought for a permanent position in a leading Financial Services institution, based in London. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with advanced knowledge and understanding of regulations within banking and investment management firms.
Key responsibilities:
• Co-ordinating and producing the annual UK Recovery and Resolution Plan for the company
• Developing, designing and presenting at management workshops
• Working closely with internal management and external advisors to embed the RRP process appropriately within the business
• Co-ordinating and delivering Reverse Stress Testing, including presenting at management workshops
• Supporting the ICAAP team with the delivery of the Wind down scenario analysis
• Managing internal and external audit relationships within area of responsibility and conveying position on audit issues where necessary
Required qualifications/skills:
• An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of the regulation of banks and investment management firms (FSA, BIPRU and GENRU)
• Relevant experience of ICAAP, stress testing and reverse stress testing development within a regulated institution
• An in-depth knowledge of applicable UK and EU financial services legislation pertaining to RRP and RST
• An advanced knowledge of investment types and products
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
