September 2016 WiFI Index: 103
For the September 2016 BRUIN Financial Women in Financial Institutions Index (WiFI), data was comprised from more than 2,500 workers in financial services to record a WiFI Index score of 103.
- WiFI Index shows a a -4 point decrease indicates the engagement and recruitment of women in financial service has declined, reversing the hard fought gains made since the start of 2015
- The gender pay gap has narrowed significantly by comparison year on year, but with men still paid on average over 11% more than women in financial services.
- The proportion of women securing a job offer is a significant increase YoY and for the third consecutive month, women are more likely to be offered a job in financial services
