Architas has hired former Seneca head of retail sales Steve Jackson to the newly-created role of key accounts director.

Jackson joined Seneca in October 2015 after spending eight years at Schroders as head of IFA sales. Prior to this, Jackson spent 15 years at M&G in a variety of roles, including five years as a business development director.

He will be supported by Jo Pawson as key accounts manager, who joins the firm from AXA Wealth.

The role, which Jackson will begin in September, will include building and developing new and existing relationships with national advice firms and networks.

This will include the risk profiled, income producing and specialist funds, as well as the Architas Managed Portfolio Service which is due to be launched soon.

Cedric Bucher, head of Architas UK funds, said: “Having known Steve for a number of years he has a real passion for the role and in delivering great service to clients. I look forward to him joining our growing UK team at a very exciting time for us and the industry.

“With the ever changing landscape of UK advice, I felt it was critical to build out our existing service for nationals and networks.

“We have diverse propositions for both independent and restricted providers, and can support each with marketing services including access to our field and telesales team, events, as well as digital tools.”
